Sharpie Gallery director Georgia Hardage’s first solo show. The pieces featured range from paintings, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, and film photography.
The exhibit opening featured live musical acts by Sarasota Slim & Nitro Bozeman and Johnny Mile & The Kilometers.
The exhibit is open until July 16.
A Florida photography exhibit where the only restriction placed on photographers was there were to be no sunsets. While Florida has some of the most beautiful sunsets in the country, we wanted to depict the state and Florida life without the all too common sunset photo.
Cosmically Radical Designs
Cosmically Radical Designs opened on November 17th, 2017. Artist Calvin Ray Davis presented acrylic works on multiple mediums. Davis created reflective acrylic on aluminum pieces measuring 12" x 24". Jewelry featured acrylic painted on specially chosen shells as well as double-sided acrylic on aluminum pendants and earrings. "In the Round" sculpture pieces came in various sizes and colors. Hand crafted wooden wine racks contained reflective acrylic tops.
Neon Dreams 2017
Our 2nd Neon Dreams show opened this past summer. Neon glass sculptures and paintings accented with neon lighting filled the gallery. Eric Roeske is the neon mechanic who created all the sculptures and neon lighting in the pieces displayed. Matt Gaunt is the painter behind most the works and specializes in psychadelic and surreal themes. Georgia Hardage and Heather Jay also contributed pieces to the exhibit.
